Owasso is one of the few teams with the size to match and can actually give the Huskies trouble in the paint. Which is where North’s outstanding depth comes into play and Ross excelled in his role as a space eater. The senior only had 5 points and 4 rebounds, but seemingly every stat he collected came during a stretch the second half when North was bleeding fouls and there were opportunities for Owasso to get back into the game. His physical presence stopped the bleeding and allowed them to maintain their edge around the paint and on the scoreboard.

Our last Edmond North player to watch is Edmond North junior forward Xavier Ross Xavier Ross 6'7" | PF Edmond North | 2024 State OK . The Huskies have a wealth of talent returning but especially in the front court. Ross has the chance to really blow up this winter if he picks up where he left off this offseason. The big man had a strong spring and summer while playing for Buddy Buckets. He’s currently trying to make an impact on the football field. But we really like Ross as a prospect on the rise in the state’s 2024 class for hoops. The Huskies provide so much depth and so many different match-up possibilities that they’re going to be a problem for opponents. Ross could flourish this season.
