Manny, who attends Racine Case High School, was one of the quicker lead guards at the Freshman Showcase in Appleton. What stands out other than Carbajal’s quickness, is his ability to knock down threes from deep three point range. With a quick release, good feet, and nice rotation on the ball Manny’s shot is very efficient and consistent despite his size. The five-foot-seven guard hit a pair of side step three point buckets in the 3 on 3 session.

One of the few 2031s at today’s showcase. Carbajal was a high level perimeter threat in the team’s last game of the day. Put on one of the best shooting clinics from beyond the arc knocking down 5 3’s. His stature puts him into a primary ball handling role but his skills would put him in the 2 spot. He showed ability to come off screens, catch and shoot, or dribble into his shot and connect from deep. Carbajal complimented his offense with forcing a transition jump ball and jumping a passing lane before pitching it ahead for an assist. Put together a well orchestrated showing to cap the day off.

His ball control and ability to handle pressure immediately stood out, showing quickness with the ball while finding ways to split defenders, get paint touches, and create for others. Liked his point guard play and the way he controlled the offense, while his ball skills remain a major strength and key attribute of his game. For a 2031 prospect competing up, Carbajal was an intriguing young player to keep an eye on.
