, A 6-7 small forward is a strong wing who is strong and sturdy around the rim on the offensive end. He also has gained consistency when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc as he has a smooth release and is deadly accurate with his shot. On the defensive end, McNeeley is versatile where he can guard positions 1 through 4 as he has shown improvements in his footwork. He has shown a lot of quickness where he doesn’t have to use his length as he has a good first step to get to the rim. He has elite speed for his size and is at his best when he is attacking downhill finishing at both sides of the rim.

Liam McNeeley, A 6-7 senior forward is more of a traditional combo forward where he can score from the outside just as well as on the interior. He has a smooth release on his jump shot where he doesn’t get phased by pressure and doesn’t need to score the basketball in order to make an impact play. On the defensive end, McNeeley is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions and has plenty of speed to stay in front of the opposing guards. He also adds a ton of strength on the interior where he can battle for rebounds on both ends of the floor and finishes a lot of put-backs around the rim.

Few prospects did more on the offensive end over Memorial Day weekend than McNeeley. He went cold from the field on Monday, but through three games on Saturday and Sunday, he had connected on 15 of 24 three-point attempts while averaging 27.7 points per game. The 5-star small forward is incredibly skilled on the offensive end. On Monday, despite not scoring until midway through the second quarter, McNeeley bounced back to score 20 points as the Florida Rebels took down Vegas Elite.

The Florida Rebels only played once on Sunday, losing a close one to Phenom U, but McNeeley was good enough to earn back-to-back top performer status. A 6’7″ 5-star forward, McNeeley continued to shoot the cover off of the ball in Memphis finishing once again with five three-pointers on his way to 25 points. He is now averaging 27.7 points per game while shooting 15-24 from three-point range in Session 4.

McNeeley absolutely shot the lights out on Saturday at EYBL Session 4 in Memphis. The super skilled 5-star forward scored 30 and 28 points respectively for the Florida Rebels in their two games while shooting an incredible 10-16 from three-point range. He arguably played as well as anyone on Saturday while picking up the slack for his 5-star teammate Karter Knox who is on family vacation. McNeeley can do it all on the offensive end of the floor.

With a team as loaded with talent with Montverde, it’s rare to see 30-point performances. So when McNeely scored 15 on 6 of 6 shooting in the opening frame, we knew this was gonna be a show. In total, the 2024 guard finished with 30 points and scorched the St. Rita defense from beyond the arc, shooting 4 of 7 from long range.
