One of the more talented swingmen in the country and a contender for the top overall spot in the 2028 class, Hamilton had his considerable talent on full display while showing some really positive early developments from his short time so far at Montverde. The native of Canada put on a loud but efficient performance in an opening win over Mt. Zion Prep (MD), playing within himself while showcasing his effortless stroke from beyond the arc and explosive athleticism as a finisher near the rim. Hamilton has been prone to forcing tough looks in the past and it was great to see him fit in so seamlessly while adjusting to a new environment with the most talent he’s ever had alongside him. As long as he continues to streamline his approach on both ends of the floor, Hamilton should remain in the thick of conversations for the top spot in his class.

Hamilton is a mile long swingman who finds different ways to impact the game on either end of the floor. He is extremely active on the glass and uses his length to shag rebounds. Hamilton made several trips to the charity stripe. He has elite timing when going to collect steals and turned defense to offense frequently. Hamilton is very comfortable putting the ball on the deck and motoring his way to different spots on the floor. He plays with a super active motor. I want to see Hamilton become a better shooter from deep, he appeared to be more of a taker than a maker. He is a prospect who should be on the big boards of high major coaches.
