About Jamail

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive, scrappy, always looking to make a play for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Determined but easy going until the ball is tipped. Then it's all business with a Mamba mentality trying to help my team win whether on the court or off.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've always been taught to be a leader by example. Trying to make others around me better. Always looking forward to lending a hand to all that are in need. I believe this comes from my strong Christian background. Since my parents and family are involved ministry.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Because of my rapid growth, I suffered a fracture in my left and right foot in grade school, and had to sit out my freshman year because of a broken leg. But I kept my head on straight by my faith in GOD. So I was resilient and determined to bounce back, which I did and had a great sophomore campaign. I'm also continuing to grow, mature and hone my skills with the pro lane aau program.

Anyplace the I can go to continue to grow, mature and impact the program

Showed good hands and feet in the first game of the day on Saturday. Posts hard on the block and can spin quickly using his frame to his advantage. Poised and patient on the catch to see the floor accordingly. Made a couple nice moves off the dribble seeing the zone D appropriately and then finishing off the bounce. Hedges screens efficiently on D.
