Kash impacts the game in so many ways and is a swiss-army knife for this loaded Team Herro squad. The freshman wing has a long 6’4” frame and is able to guard a variety of positions defensively with his lateral quickness and length. Offensively, he was at his best when getting downhill, drawing a lot of fouls and being able to use touch or power on finishes at the rim. Knueppel is a capable three-level scorer and very versatile defender.

Knueppel continued to impress with his efficient, controlled offensive game. His quick-trigger shooting forced defenders to run him off the arc, but he adjusted seamlessly by creating space with one or two dribbles. Long strides, polished footwork, and crafty pivots helped him generate clean looks and maintain rhythm. Knueppel’s blend of shooting and poise kept him a consistent offensive threat for Team 7.

Like his older brothers before him, Kash brings an intriguing blend of size, skill, and basketball IQ to the floor. The 6’4 guard was one of the best passers at the event, able to force the defense to collapse on him before locating an open teammate. Kash can beat you with finesse as he has a dangerous turnaround jumper, but he has no problem initiating contact and bullying his way to the rim for two points as well. Kash played with a smile on his face and was producing at a high level all game long in a big win.

Kash ended up going down with an injury in the 15u semi-finals, but it didn’t take him long to prove he belongs on this list. With his team playing up a year, Kash still stood out, attacking the basket for three early finishes. At 6’2 he’s not afraid to play with physicality, and was bumping defenders off before powering his way up to finish. That toughness translated to the defensive end as well, as he was battling for every inch of position on the block against taller players, and wasn’t afraid to step in and take a hit to try drawing a charge. He brought a level of composure to the floor that just had his team operating at a higher level offensively when he was in the game.
