Owen has been having a very good summer so far leading up to thr June Jam. While playing with Chapman, he has expanded his game at such a young age. He is able to shoot and finish at high rates and be a reliable scorer when his team needs one. With his height comes his very good defense. His 6’5 frame allows him to block shots around the rim, but he can also guard the perimeter. As he looks to become a contributor for Wisconsin Lutheran this upcoming season, this summer is helping his case.

The first thing you have to realize when watching York battle senior Joseph Daly Joseph Daly 6'7" | SF/PF New London | 2026 State WI of New London at The Expo is that he is in ninth grade. And with that impressive credential in mind, you come away very impressed with York’s poise, length, competitiveness and confidence. Certainly, he had a hard time always keeping Daly off the glass and away from the basket, but he also had the length and mobility to battle New London’s standout forward. York might earn a spot with the varsity squad at Wisconsin Lutheran as a freshman, although he might be ticketed for the JV1 program with all the returning talent in the program for the two-time defending state champions. Regardless, his future is very bright as he continues to mature, add strength and refine his ball skills.
