Person is a swingman with good imposing size on the perimeter. He is a bit a tweener operating as a combo-forward. He had good touch around the bucket and converted on shots often. He moves well without the basketball in his hands a slasher. Person did a good job filling the lane in transition. Curious to see how he develops at the Phelps School (PA) this upcoming season.

Person is an intriguing perimeter prospect with a lethal jump shot. This weekend Person buried threes, mid-range jumpers and difficult bunnies over defenders. A couple of the triples Person hit this weekend were from NBA range. Person’s high, ultra-quick release on his jumper is unique. His ability to find creases in opposing defenses for open looks was impressive too. Person is a long athlete with an enormous wingspan. That combination enabled him to gobble up rebounds and block several shots. Person recorded 13 points (2 threes) in GV’s win over Freedom as well as 15 points (3 threes) against Radnor.

On Saturday Person poured in 22 pointson the strength of four made triples. When he was not draining threes, Person put the ball on the deck and got to his mid-range spots for pull ups. Person also slashed back door a couple times for lay-ins. Once opponents realized Person needed extra defensive attention, he did a respectable job of passing out of those double teams. Person competed on the defensive boards too, pulling in a couple of tough rebounds.
