An incoming transfer from Rhode Island who’s had somewhat of an itinerant prep career to this point, Price will look to finish out strong as a senior leader and offensive catalyst at Phelps. A nice-sized guard, he’s a dynamic creator with the ball in his hands, using a shifty handle to slice into the teeth of the defense and make plays for himself or his teammates. He’s also comfortable sliding off-ball as a catch-and-shoot threat from the perimeter. With the way Phelps plays and the amount of reps he should get on the ball, look for Price to have some gaudy scoring outputs over the course of the winter before he heads back to his home state to begin his college career at Bryant.

He plays with effective flair as a ballhandler while weaving to his spots and showing dynamic shotmaking ability from every level of the floor. Not just a one-trick pony, Price also shows flashes of playmaking feel on both ends with the ability to act some as a facilitator out of ball screens. The crafty guard was a consistent standout on the Made Hoops circuit this summer for BCRI and acclimated well during his lone weekend with Phelps in the second June live period. His positional size and well-rounded offensive arsenal have a host of D1 programs already having offered, with Price projecting to make potentially the highest debut of any newcomer in the upcoming update to the 2027 rankings.

Price is one of the most skilled players in the region, and scholarship coaches are starting to realize that. The 6-foot-3 BCRI product has a rhythmic dribbling style and looks like he’s dancing when he’s handling it—he’s jumpy but controlled, and shifty but compact. He pairs his ball handling ability with a beautiful outside shot and better athleticism than people think at the rim. Oh, and he’s also a phenomenal passer whose feel for the game is only continuing to elevate as he plays with high level players. The incoming Phelps School senior picked up a scholarship offer from Youngstown State after his impressive performance this weekend, and I bet more will be coming.

As a scorer, Price is just as dangerous, knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc and proving that defenders cannot afford to leave him open. His ability to create offense for both himself and others makes him a constant threat whenever the ball is in his hands. With his blend of playmaking, shot-making, and feel for the game, Price has established himself as one of the more intriguing guards in his class. He plays the game with a ton of passion and it is contagious. His recent offer from Youngstown State is well deserved, and he is a prospect who should continue to draw significant attention from low and mid-major division one programs as his recruitment continues to gain momentum.

Price has been on a tear for BCRI to start the season, and it has been really fun to watch him cook. The 6-foot-3 guard has a beautiful shot that he can hit on the move and off the dribble, and he gets tons of elevation on his looks, so he’s quite difficult to contest (especially for shorter guards or wings). Additionally, the Wheeler School junior can glide to the rim for finishes and has excellent touch with both hands. He’s just an athletic, skilled basketball player who is finally coming into his own and showcasing what he can do on the offensive side of the ball. Bright future ahead for Price, who found a perfect fit with BCRI and should have a big prep year next season.
