Reeves is loaded with potential and now gets his chance to impact games. What stands out his how he’s able to manipulate the game without needing constant touches. He has size, he moves well, rebounds with the bigs, starts the break, spaces the floor and runs in transition for finishes. He checks off all boxes. We’ve seen flashes that show he belongs. The next step is confidence and making it happen for Eaglecrest. If it all connects, he’s a player who will quickly land on more radars and should be a player to watch for the Raptors this season.

With what we saw from Grant this summer, he’s a player that we’re excited to see how it translates for Eaglecrest. They’re the defending champs and have a target on their backs, and it will take on a full team effort every night to make another deep push. With that, a player will have to transform from a complementary piece to a constant, and I feel that Grant fits that role. He has good size and a skillset to attack mismatches. He makes the right reads with and without the ball, competes on the glass, and is not a player that you have to run plays for. He should be a player who they put the ball in his hands and let him create, but he also goes out and makes things happen himself. He’s shown us that he’s a player with upside; now it’s about putting it together on varsity. High expectations for him this season, and he also has room to grow.

Reeves was one of the biggest beneficiaries from the day as he appeared to be one of the best prospects at the entire event. His versatility set him apart as he showcased it all. He has a high IQ, a smooth shooting stroke both off the catch and dribble, and he also was the team’s point guard despite being 6’4. He did a bit of everything and scored with ease, but also set the table for others. His length helped him switch defensively, contest shots, and even block a few at the rim, which added to his day. With how he performed, I expect him to be one of the conference’s best under-the-radar options poised for a big season.
