Daniel Delgardo Daniel Delgardo 5'10" | PG Darrow School | 2025 State NY ended his high school career as the second leading scorer in Leto High School history with roughly 1900 total career points. Daniel is a do-it-all point guard. Ball handling, threes, mid-range, acrobatic layups, etc. He’s a very good and aggressive on-ball perimeter defender and has active hands and great instincts off-ball. He’s a high-energy player who makes winning plays for a team that went deep into the playoffs this year.

2023-2024 Stats: 19.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 3.1 APG & 2.7 SPGrnWhen you take a look at Delgardo’s game you can see he has a very heavy dose of athleticism where he can finish off lobs or get to the rim through traffic. He is a high-level offensive prospect who can score on all three levels whether it’s off the bounce or the catch. On the defensive end of the floor, Delgardo has shown he has quick feet and can get into the passing lanes using his length to get deflections. His energy and play-making abilities have continued to improve as he has gained a ton of college interest.

The 6-0 senior point guard has shown huge strides in his game so far this season where he can impact the game in a variety of ways. He has shown elusive quickness with the basketball in his hands where he is making the right decision on whether to shoot from the perimeter or get to the rim. He also has shown a great IQ on the offensive end where he continues to get his teammates involved and make them better.

Delgardo is one of many talented rising prospects on the roster but stands out with efficient shooting from the field while also being one of the top defenders on the team. Along with a natural shooting stroke, Delgardo uses his quickness and acrobatic lay-up skills to finish at the rim or find open teammates with sharp passing. Important senior season ahead for Daniel as he looks to see an uptick in college interest. Daniel Delgardo Daniel Delgardo 5'10" | PG Darrow School | 2025 State NY III, A 6-1 senior combo guard plays with an aggressive edge on the offensive end, where he can often switch hands and finish on both sides of the rim at a high level. Delgardo isn’t afraid to draw contact where he can get to the free throw line on numerous occasions. On the defensive end, Delgardo has smooth footwork where he can cover a lot of ground as well as guard multiple positions. He has very active hands and does a great job at jumping the passing lanes getting tips and deflections. He is very consistent when it comes to finishing from the mid-range on the offensive end as well.

The 5-11 senior guard has had a smooth weekend for G1 Sports as he continues to score on all three levels. Daniel finished with a game-high 22 points in a win over Warner Robins All-Stars where his smooth touch and attack for the basket was the key. His recruitment will look to start taking shape as we gear into the summer as he continues to use his speed to an advantage.

The 6’0 guard scored his 1000th career point this season while averaging 22.6 points game for Leto High (13-5) according to Max Preps. The 6-0 junior combo guard is having a breakout season so far for Leto High School heading into the New Year. In 3 games at the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational, Delgardo averaged 18.3 points per game leading the Falcons to a 3-0 record in the tournament. In 16 games played this season, Delgardo is averaging 21.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.3 steals per game. Leto returns to action on January 10 where they’ll host Wharton High School in a marquee district matchup.
