A player to monitor over the next 12 months due to his size, mobility and skill, Hoel is not a finished product by any means. He has to get stronger and play more consistently. But at 6-foot-9 and with a 7-foot-1 wingspan, Hoel has some obvious attributes. He had a solid spring/summer on the circuit with a very good Wisconsin Playmakers New Balance Prelude squad that ranked among the best in the state. And he figures to be a go-to player for an improved Stanley-Boyd squad this winter as they attempt to challenge for the title in the always competitive Western Cloverbelt Conference. Hoel currently holds a DII scholarship offer from Northern Michigan.
