Mason Melzer Mason Melzer 5'10" | CG MN – Melzer is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2030 guard playing Real Phenom this weekend and he’s from DeLaSalle. Melzer shows a feel for the game with the ball in his hands that just looks so natural and he passes the ball with a distinct flair. Melzer hit a couple 3-pointers and displayed his driving and finishing ability throughout against Showtime Elite.

Mason’s game is so smooth, as he is a true do-it-all point guard. He has a great handle and found working around defenders very easy. He plays with great pace and never looks sped up with the ball in his hands, getting inside whenever he wanted. He is a crafty finisher, mixing in layups with either hand, or inside and outside hand. He is also a knockdown shooter, as he hit on a deep three to force overtime in 5v5 play. Melzer has all the tools for a lead guard, but will even get scarier as he continues to grow.
