2026 Rankings Update: The Top Ten

Names like Taylen Kinney, Gabe Weis, Jayden Johnson and Cole Edelen have all left Kentucky over the course of their high school careers. There is still a lot of talent left in the class. Davidson is a stretch 4 with the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. Coming off a Junior season where he got North Laurel to Rupp Arena and had a couple of huge games on the big stage, Davidson is likely the early favorite for Mr Basketball. Jonathan is capable of scoring or creating for teammates and has become a good enough three point shooter that he's an incredibly tough player to defend. Feldhaus was primarily known for his golfing abilities before he transferred to Madison Central from Fleming County last summer. Amari is both quick and fast and is deadly when allowed to get to his left hand. He's a big time playmaker who has the potential to account for the vast majority of the scoring for Bryan Station. Damian provides serious rim protection and is going to be an impact player in one of the state's toughest regions. Jackson is off the board to Southern Illinois. Saint X could be the most talented team in Kentucky heading into the season and Jeremiah is likely the captain for the Tigers squad. Anthony is outstanding at getting into the paint and finishing. He can take contact and finish as well as get to the line. A crafty playmaker, Athens has steadily added offers to his list over the past year and is one of the leaders for 9th region player of the year heading into the season.
