Blaackar is an explosive scorer who had a really good career at Lloyd. He is a big time athlete that gets paint touches consistently on the offensive end and is a really good defender who can switch across multiple positions. Anthony once held multiple D1 offers and would be a steal at any level he signs at.

One o the top guards in the class, Blaackar is both quick and fast. He’s a strong guard with a nice finishing package and has put up impressive shooting splits of 58/45/84 while averaging 23 points and 6 rebounds per game. At this point, I’m not sure if D1 is realistic but D2 and NAIA schools could get a steal with Anthony now.

led the Juggernauts in scoring on opening night of the Kentucky high school basketball season, dropping 27 of Lloyd’s 93 points in their win. He added six rebounds, five assists, and a steal. With EJ Walker graduating after leading the Juggs last season, Blaackar stepped into the primary role and delivered, showing his effectiveness in transition with a slam and creating those chances by jumping passing lanes and turning defense into offense.

A bigger point guard who is explosive and really impacts winning for the Juggernauts, Anthony is matchup problem for ninth region foes. While Blaackar isn’t a great shooter, he shoots well enough to keep defenses honest. His quick first step allows Anthony to live in the paint on the offensive end.

One of the biggest stock risers of July, Blaackar went from no D1 offers to multiple D1 offers over the course of two weeks in the summer. Anthony is outstanding at getting into the paint and finishing. He can take contact and finish as well as get to the line. Blaackar needs to continue improving his three point shooting but he’s a very talented two way guard who can switch across multiple positions on the defensive end.

A talented slashing guard who made a lot of plays off the dribble, Blaackar was getting to the rim in both the half court and transition. With a couple of righty scoop layups on the left side. Blaackar’s strength also shows in a game against a team like TLBA with a ton of physically advanced athletes. With a couple strong rebounds and in general not getting pushed around, Blaackar certainly fit in athletically on this court. With some of the top Division II teams in the region recruiting Blaackar, he’s also got a handful of Division I programs monitoring his development as well.

As a junior on a loaded Lloyd Memorial team led by current University of South Carolina standout EJ Walker, Blaackar still managed to shine in his own right. Now a senior, he’ll step into the spotlight as the go-to player for the Juggernauts. Blaackar plays with poise and intelligence, consistently taking—and often making—the best available shot. He never forces the action and excels at getting to the rim with control. If his summer performance is any indication of what’s to come, fans are in for a show as he dropped 50 points in a high school summer game.

Playing on a young Lloyd Memorial squad, Blaackar is in a featured role as a creator for his team and showed off his isolation ability on Friday. Blaackar is tough to stay in front of off the dribble thanks to his burst and change of direction. In the overtime frame of the game I caught Blaackar had the game-winning layup for his team as the scrappy Juggernauts are looking like they’ll be a competitive squad in northern Kentucky once again this winter.

McGillis’ backcourt mate for the AAU season, Anthony is a very different player than Athens. Blaackar is a downhill driver and facilitator who is at his best when he’s getting paint touches. Blaackar is not a bad shooter but prefers to be in attack mode at all times instead of taking jumpers. The 6’2 guard has the tools to be a two way menace at the college level.

Lloyd Memorial stayed competitive for a while in this game and impressed me with their resiliency. Blaackar has had a productive start to his Junior season and is tough to stop when he gets to the basket. Blaackar drew three fouls and with his quickness, athleticism and strength, it’s tough to prevent him from getting to the rim without fouling him. Hoping to see Blaackar continue to develop a 3-point shot and make more plays on the ball. He went 1/1 on 3-pointers and had no assists on Wednesday, two areas I know he can improve in. One of the most talented guards in northern Kentucky’s 2026 class, Blaackar is a name to watch.
