A really tough minded player that is young for his grade and still so productive. Steady in all areas of the game consistently defending, scoring and playmaking. A good three point shooter and also a good shot contesting player and defensive rebounder. A Gopher quarterback offered football player that is a state title guard on the basketball court and was just named Honorable Mention all MADE at 15u. Nelson is one of the more well rounded young guards we have seen for this age, polished is a good way to put it. His first Adidas games made big headlines as he went for 15 points and 11 rebounds followed by 26 points and 16 rebounds. Top player on the top Fury team, his consistency rubbed off on a team that improved all season. When it comes to scoring feel, Mal is on the short list of best in this class.
