– The six-foot-one-inch 2029 LEAD Sports Academy and Two Rivers guard Greer plays both guard positions well and for LEAD he is the primary ball handler, setter upper and table setter. Greer exhibits good perimeter shooting ability and shows good ability to pass and move the basketball. Playing up at the 16U level Greer didn’t seem bothered at all with the speed and physically.
In a semi-finals game against Minneapolis Central that got extremely sped up and out of control at times, Jaylen was a calming presence on the floor for his team. He never looked in a rush, was breaking the press with ease, and utilized ball fakes to get by his defender and give his team a numbers advantage. When left open Jaylen can torch you from three, but was at his best this weekend creating for his teammates off the dribble. Looked like a veteran among his peers at the 15u level.
