Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN is a six-foot-two-inch 2029 Two Rivers guard that proved all spring and summer he’s a very capable lead guard that can handle the point handling the ball, pressure and scoring. Greer, who’s gotten solid minutes on Varsity since he was an 8th grader, has the size to operate both guard positions offensively and defensively. Greer outside shooting can make him a good prospect, and he does well at times getting to the mid-range for open looks. Greer makes the right passes and operates well in screen situations finding the open man for scoring chances.

Greer is a player that grabs my attention because the percentages of his finishes for a guard have to be, and usually are high. Love the body control of Greer going towards the rim as he seems to get balanced to finish in traffic better than most and he shot the ball well away from the paint with the jumper. One of the more accomplished scorers in the class.

New Coach: Aaron Turner. Turner has been the head coach at White Bear Lake in recent years and now he moves over to Two Rivers as their head man. Turner has been coaching as an assistant or head man for 15 seasons.

Jaylen is one of the best young talents in the sophomore class and he scored nine points a game last season. Greer had a strong year in 15u as well and with five of the top six Two Rivers players no longer on the team, Greer is in a great position to be the main option taking Turner’s team into the next era.

Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN – Greer is a six-foot-two-inch 2029 guard from Two Rivers is LEAD’s lead ball handler, creator, and can be their lead scorer. Greer displays ability to score from the perimeter as a shooter off the dribble or spotted up, works well in ball screen action as rim attack or passer, and is adequate below the rim finisher. Greer shows good timing as a defender getting deflections, collecting steals and blocking a shot here and there. Greer is improving as athlete and soon could take a leap forward there.

Every time I saw a Greer line after a game it was like….. six baskets, six rebounds, a handful of assists, a couple steals, and wins for his team. Sometimes Greer would pop from the arc and add more transition scores and that high teens area or the 20 point area, and he was always productive for one of the elite 15u teams.

Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN – The six-foot-two-inch Two Rivers 2029 guard Greer went for 25 points against NOVA 94 Feet CC to get LEAD Sports Academy into the Elite 8 at Made Hoops Summer Live Finale in Baltimore. Greer showed up on defense as well with two blocks and two steals in LEAD’s pressure defense and he assisted on two baskets for teammates. Greer’s compact 3-point jumper was on for LEAD in this game with at least three triples.

Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN – The six-foot-two-inch 2029 Two Rivers guard showed his perimeter shooting skill as the lead guard for LEAD Sports Academy in their win over top Made Hoops team New Heights in a 45-32 win Thursday. Greer knocked down two 3-pointers in the first half and handled the ball for a large bulk of the ball handling duties.

Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN – Competing in the Platinum Sixers 15U Division in the Made Hoops Championship Friday the six-foot-two-inch 2029 Two Rivers guard Greer put together a 12 point, 6 rebound, 5 assist and 2 block performance. LEAD Sports Academy fell 56-53 to a Titans 2029 team but Greer knocked down three triples and threw some smooth passes to set-up teammates for scores.

Jayen Greer – Greer playing for LEAD Sports Academy on the Made Hoops circuit in Philly had a very effective 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in their victory Wednesday night. The Two Rivers 2029 six-foot-two-inch guard is LEAD’s main ball handler and creator and showcased that ability handing out assists for a number of scores in their 57-35 victory. Thursday afternoon Greer had 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists against the New England Blue Clips in another victory. 

Jaylen Greer Jaylen Greer 6'2" | CG/PG Two Rivers | 2029 State MN – The six-foot-one-inch 2029 LEAD Sports Academy and Two Rivers guard Greer plays both guard positions well and for LEAD he is the primary ball handler, setter upper and table setter. Greer exhibits good perimeter shooting ability and shows good ability to pass and move the basketball. Playing up at the 16U level Greer didn’t seem bothered at all with the speed and physically.
