LEAD Sports Academy 15U Season Roster Review

<p>LEAD Sports Academy went 35-10 overall and played a variety of Prep Hoops Circuit events and on the Made Hoops Circuit. Greer displays ability to score from the perimeter as a shooter off the dribble or spotted up, works well in ball screen action as rim attack or passer, and is adequate below the rim finisher. Greer shows good timing as a defender getting deflections, collecting steals and blocking a shot here and there. Joyner is an attack guard who probes and prods defenses with his dribble. At times Joyner has shown to be able to make a good number of 3-pointers in games and has good potential as a catch and shoot perimeter shooter. Knighten is quick with the ball, especially his first step and when he gets a seam Knighten gets to the rim nicely. Defensively Knighten's athletic, quickness, and strength enable him to deflect passes and get steals.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2780396' first='Jamaal' last='Rolenc'] - Rolenc is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2029 Minneapolis Washburn guard who plays really hard and will get after opposing guards on the perimeter like an attack hound. Rolenc's athleticism currently enables him to make plays defensively that lead to offense.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2855073' first='Kendall' last='Barber Jr'] - Barber who goes by KJ is a six-foot-two-inch 2029 guard/wing from Benilde-St. Margaret's. Another LEAD athletic athlete who hounds ball handlers, jump passing lanes, and creates chaos on the defensive end of the court.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2923915' first='Jovan' last='Clay'] - Clay is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2029 guard from St. Louis Park that has the ability as ISO scorer and spot-up 3-point shooting. Clay is quick with the ball, and is aggressive in transition and off the dribble.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='3582452' first='Deshon' last='Cumber'] - Cumber is a five-foot-nine-inch 2029 St.Anthony guard for LEAD that like his counterparts on LEAD is a menacing perimeter defender. Cumber is a good below the rim finisher and gets out in transition well since he's a good, quick athlete. Cumber has shown ability to hit perimeter shots as well.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2856272' first='Lyndon' last='Shelby'] - Shelby is a six-foot 2029 wing from Hopkins that has ability at times to step out on the perimeter and make shots. Shelby's best skills are going downhill hard at the rim and getting out in transition. His frame is solid and he shows potential as an athlete.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2905843' first='Cody' last='Woitel-Anschutz'] - The six-foot-four-inch 2029 Woitel-Anschutz is a forward from Armstrong (formerly Hiawatha) and joined LEAD in July after spending April through June with the Heat Conyers club. Woitel-Anschutz is a fantastic leaper who finishes a number of plays above the rim, is a good rebounder with the jumping ability and has shown an ability to create shots off the dribble and get mid-range spots that I'll call his spots, Woitel-Anschutz shows good anticipation like a waiting defensive back to pick off passes and those lead to high percentage rim runs which are either lay-ups or dunks.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2391153' first='Tolu' last='Taiwo'] - Taiwo is a six-foot-three-inch 2029 forward from Stillwater that possesses good strength and plays well physically inside and close to the basket. Taiwo is a quick leaper, especially his second jump. Taiwo has rim defending ability and is a solid post defender, and does well to secure loose balls.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2440424' first='Andre' last='Glass'] - Glass is a five-foot-ten-inch 2029 guard from Simley that is an active perimeter defender moving his feet and getting his hands on loose balls that create instant opportunities. Glass is a good attacker in transition with call ball handling skills and finishes well on his lay-ups.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">King-DiuBois Willsun - The six-foot-eight-inch 2028 Minnetonka center gave LEAD an good inside presence for them as a rebounder, shot blocker, and screener.
