Lamarr Knighten Lamarr Knighten 5'9" | PG Minneapolis Washburn | 2029 State MN – Knighten is a five-foot-nine-inch 2029 Washburn guard that also plays wide receiver on the football field. Knighten is quick with the ball, especially his first step and when he gets a seam Knighten gets to the rim nicely. Defensively Knighten’s athletic, quickness, and strength enable him to deflect passes and get steals.

Lamarr was a constant on all event teams as he led [LEAD] – no pun intended – to a load of wins in every local event they played in. Knighten’s quickness is one of his super powers but his other super power is his mind because he uses that quickness to beat the defense the right way, and with the right timing and decision. That quickness also helps his team pressure at a really high level.

Knighten is one of the quickest guards in Minnesota’s 2029 class. Offensively he’s an extremely unselfish player who you’ll rarely see overdribble. When the ball comes his way, it’s a quick decision to hit a catch-and-shoot three, attack a gap, or quickly swing it to a teammate. Good vision off the drive to dump it off to a big or kick it out to an open shooter. LEAD Sports Academy likes to pressure the ball all over the floor, and Lamar’s quickness helped them force turnover after turnover in both games I watched.
