This year's SCBCA All-State teams once again showcase that impact, highlighting players who stood out throughout the season and helped lead their teams to success. Here's a look at the selections from the 843 who earned All-State recognition.

First up on the 843's SCBCA All-State Selections is [player_tooltip player_id='2614011' first='Kiauj' last='Allen']. KJ stacked up the awards from his senior year, earning both 1st Team All-Region and North/South All-Star to go with this All-State honor. He didn't put up the flashy numbers that some of his teammates did, but when it got down to winning time, he was as important to his group's success as anyone in this list.

Hopper had an exceptional final year of High School Ball, piling up both the individual and team accolades. Afman is a very deserving member of the 2A All-State Team, having put up 14 points per game with over 70 makes from three, but he is the type of kid who will tell you the State Championship Trophy is the one that means the most to him.

The USC-Aiken commit leaves Goose Creek as one of the most decorated players in program history. Along with helping lead them to back-to-back Lower State Championship appearances, Ja'Quell was 3x All-Region, 2x Region Player of the Year, a 2026 Carolina Classic All-Star, and a now 2x All-State choice. Brown put up 12.8 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 3.3 steals per game in his final ride.

Preseason, it might have been a surprise to see Elijah's name on the All-State list, but after having seen what he did for the Sharks all season long, it is no surprise at all. He was one of the best scorers in the Beach Region all year long, winning a very tight Region 6-5A Player of the Year race after St. James went 10-0 in region play. I'm excited to follow Elijah through the offseason and see what he can develop into for his senior year.

Heading down the coast to Mount Pleasant, [player_tooltip player_id='1513456' first='Abe' last='Davinroy'] was an All-State selection in Class AAA out of Oceanside Collegiate Academy. Abe has been an excellent offensive weapon for the Landsharks over the course of his career, combining both spot-up scoring and on-ball playmaking. Davinroy went for 15.3 points, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 assists a night in 2025-26.

Dawson went through several monster offensive stretches in his junior year. This earned him his first All-State award, but it also earned him the Region 5-4A Offensive Player of the Year trophy. Kayson put up 18.0 points per game and 3.2 assists per game this season, combining scoring and facilitating to become one of the most revered weapons in the Pee Dee.

Going for 21.6 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game, there weren't many who had a brighter individual season than Everett Jr. He put the Silver Foxes on his back throughout the season, including many times in the playoffs, leading them to the 5A D1 State Championship despite being the #7 Seed in the Lower State Bracket. Clayton now holds a D1 offer from SC State, so I'm intrigued to see where he ends up over the coming months.

Another senior guard who had a big year was Deyon. It was a two-man show for the entire season in Mullins, as they only had two players in double-figure points, but both were over 18 a night. Ford was the leader at 19.5, but he also racked up 4.3 assists per game and 3.0 steals per game, dominating on or near the ball game-in, game-out.

Just because he's at a smaller school doesn't mean Jamie isn't deserving of big respect. He put a lot of things together on the floor in his junior year, winning Region 5-1A Player of the Year thanks to 19.5 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.0 steals a night. He still has another year ahead of him, so look for Graham to take another big step over the offseason.

One of the state's Gatorade Player of the Year finalists is up next. JJ led the state in Points Per 32 at 27.9, doing so on 32% shooting from three and 43% from the field. Gray's combination of positional size and scoring ability is a hard thing to find at this level, and it's one of the reasons why he was named Region 6-5A Offensive Player of the Year, along with the All-State honor.

Heyward is the second Carvers Bay Bear who made the Class 1A All-State Team. He was a multi-time All-State selection on the hardwood, but he's also a standout football player for the school. He tallied over 15 points a game and had experience that was crucial to the Bears' run to the Lower State Championship Game.

Capping off this streak of coastal-area selections is [player_tooltip player_id='2044349' first='Trevon' last='Johnson']. Johnson was one of the best sub-6'0" guards in the state this season, terrorizing matchups on both ends of the floor. Although he went for 17.4 points per game and 2.3 assists per game, Trevon also won Region 6-5A Defensive Player of the Year because of how scrappy and consistent he is on that end of the floor.

Goose Creek's second 5A All-State Team member is deserving of a big bump up in the rankings. The Gators are as bought in defensively as any team in the state, and Johnson's length and athleticism are a key piece of it. Their staff tracks deflections, and Terrell had over 8.1 deflections a game, simply being a menace on the defensive end every possession. He has also shown good strides with his jump and would be a nice late addition to a class.

Don't let the size fool you with Zion - he was as productive as any guard in the state in 2025-26. King helped guide Charleston Math & Science to a second-place region finish and two playoff wins, leading them at 19.2 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 3.8 steals per game this season.

Of all the names in the 843, [player_tooltip player_id='1486211' first='Josh' last='Leonard']'s was probably the least surprising to see on an All-State Team. He is well established as a can't-miss next-level prospect and one of the best players in the state right now, having been named Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore last year. Leonard was right back at it this season, putting up 22.1 points per game and 13.0 rebounds per game, as he crossed over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

One of the top scorers in the Charleston area this year was Juel. He went for over 20 points a night on 47% shooting from the field. Mack is at his best when he's attacking the rim, so although he is a capable shooter, there is room for growth on the perimeter, having just shot 29% from three. Dakarai put up some ridiculous stat lines over the course of the year, including three 30-point games and 11 games of 20 or more rebounds.
