Preseason, it might have been a surprise to see Elijah's name on the All-State list, but after having seen what he did for the Sharks all season long, it is no surprise at all. He was one of the best scorers in the Beach Region all year long, winning a very tight Region 6-5A Player of the Year race after St. James went 10-0 in region play. I'm excited to follow Elijah through the offseason and see what he can develop into for his senior year.

Khalid's twin brother Khalil also made the SCBCA All-State Team. Sherman took big strides this season on the hardwood, improving by almost 5 points per game. However, he's also a big-time football player, holding an offer from Newberry. This was a generational class down in Loris, and the Shermans will be the standard at that school for a long time to come.

Skinner was a late addition to the Bluffton roster after moving back to the Lowcountry, but once he found his rhythm with this group, it made off with big dividends. The Region 6-4A Player of the Year's 20.9 points per game and 6.3 assists per game numbers were good enough to lead them past some formidable competition to the Lower State Championship Game.

One of the 843 prospects who improved their game the most between this season and last season is Terrell. He improved from 8.4 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game in 2024-25 to 13.1 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game in 2025-26. Jackson still has plenty of room for growth, too, so once he hits his ceiling, look out.

The 20-win Central Eagles were a team very deserving of an All-State Player in Class 2A. Webber was the pick, their leading scorer at 17.7 points per game. His positional size allowed him to be an efficient scorer throughout the season. Tazhir would benefit from a prep or JuCo year to hone his playmaking abilities before moving on to high-level college basketball.

Charles put together another fantastic year down in Marion. He became the 10th player in school history to cross over the 1,000 point mark for his career, thanks to 527 total points in 26 games. White did so despite not being a high-volume three-point shooter, which should only prove how excellent a finisher and mid-range scorer he is.

Rounding out the list of All-State players from the 843 is [player_tooltip player_id='2305379' first='Dakarai' last='Worley'] of Mullins High School. Dakarai put up some ridiculous stat lines over the course of the year, including three 30-point games and 11 games of 20 or more rebounds. Some of his season stat lines are hard to believe, but if you've ever seen Worley on one of those nights, it is a treat to watch.
