Down in the Lowcountry, Terrell had an excellent senior season to earn an offer from Paine College, receive an invite to the North vs South All-Star Game, and get moved up from #180 to #63 in the Class of 2026 Rankings. Johnson has natural length and athleticism, but he’s put in the work to become an efficient perimeter shooter and one of the most impactful defenders in the state. Those are two areas that his coach harps on, which proves that Terrell is programmed to work and improve as a player. In his final year, Johnson averaged 10 points per game and 2.4 steals per game on 38% three-point shooting.

Goose Creek’s second 5A All-State Team member is deserving of a big bump up in the rankings. The Gators are as bought in defensively as any team in the state, and Johnson’s length and athleticism are a key piece of it. Their staff tracks deflections, and Terrell had over 8.1 deflections a game, simply being a menace on the defensive end every possession. He has also shown good strides with his jump and would be a nice late addition to a class.

Terrell Johnson Terrell Johnson 6'6" | SF Goose Creek | 2026 State SC is another player from Goose Creek High School who has been well-represented in the Film Room series so far. He is a 6’4″ Wing who played with Charleston Raptors this Summer and has an intriguing combination of length, skill, and shooting ability. Terrell is a fluid mover and can take a defender off the dribble or shoot over the top of them. His length stood out on video and caused lots of mismatch issues on both ends of the floor. After getting familiar with him for this review, I will keep an eye on Johnson in the High School Season to see if he can take the next step physically and become an even more exciting prospect.
