In Woodstock’s 61-59 overtime win against Jonesboro, it was Graham who ran the floor for a layup at the buzzer to tie the game. Ace’s scoring touch led to 20 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. He sank five jumpers which featured two threes. Graham implemented sidesteps dribbles to free himself for threes and scored with tough turnaround jumpers. Expect Graham to gain traction with many different levels of college programs.

Just because he’s at a smaller school doesn’t mean Jamie isn’t deserving of big respect. He put a lot of things together on the floor in his junior year, winning Region 5-1A Player of the Year thanks to 19.5 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.0 steals a night. He still has another year ahead of him, so look for Graham to take another big step over the offseason.

Rounding out my list of Small-Town Stars on day two of the Carvers Bay Battle of the Bay is Jamie Graham Jamie Graham 6'1" | CG Woodstock | 2027 GA . This was my first time seeing Graham in a Carvers Bay jersey, and he was terrific in their win over Ragin Prep. He is a guy who the Bears need on the floor in close games, not only because he is a trusted ball handler and one of their best scorers, but because he is an elite free-throw shooter who can ice a game at the line. When the shots are falling like they were on Saturday, there aren’t too many better players in the Lower State of Class 1A than Ace. He finished with 29 points in the win.
