Atreyveon is a new Shooting Guard to know in the Columbia area. He first stood out to me at the recent USC Team Camp, but it was easy to see he had a big impact for PCH during the spring, too. Check out “USC Team Camp: Day One’s Biggest Standouts?” for a deeper breakdown on Banchs.

I wasn’t familiar with Banchs coming into the day, but he really intrigued me and is one I want to keep tabs on going forward. He is impressive from a size and athleticism standpoint, possessing the fluidity to get to the rim and his spots in the mid-range. Atreyveon averaged 19.4 points per game in his junior year, and although the shots weren’t falling at a high rate today, it was still clear to see the tools that will make him successful over a larger sample size.
