Schulze has nice moves in the pivot. He uses dropsteps upon sealing for position. Josh works angles well, kissing shots off the glass. Against Jonesboro, he turned over his right shoulder to score with a left-handed hook. The 6-foot-7 forward collected 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. He has developed nicely upon his arrival at Woodstock. Schulze would be a very good get at the D-III level.

The junior forward averaged nearly a double-double for the Wolverines this season while continuing to establish himself as a productive and active frontcourt presence. Schulze plays with a high motor and consistently impacts the game with his energy level, toughness, and activity around the basket. He runs the floor well, finishes above the rim in transition and around the paint, and has shown developing touch and skill in the midrange. A relentless rebounder, Schulze competes hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and brings physicality and effort every possession. He is play with the Atlanta All-Stars on the UA Rise circuit.

Schulze has taken a noticeable leap in consistency and confidence in Year 2 at Woodstock. He rebounds nightly and plays with increased assertiveness, impacting games with his effort and versatility. As a stretch-forward, he can step out and knock down jumpers, while also showing craftiness and touch in the pivot when scoring on the block. His skill level is sneakily high, and his feel for spacing and timing continues to improve. With his upward trajectory, Schulze is a name that should keep popping up on college radars as his development continues.

Josh went for 17 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a loss to Hillgrove. Schulze’s stock continues to rise. He’s a got a nice inside-out game and is growing in confidence. Josh will be a huge factor toward the Wolverines’ success.

Up from 103: Saw an elevated role midway though the season and really stepped up. Well-rounded offensive skill set, able to score with his back to the basket or open up the floor with his jumper. Sneaky good shot blocks and rebounder. Can be used in the pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop.

When Josh’s hands weren’t in his jersey, he was making an impact on both sides of the ball. Schulze recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 4 blocks. He scored out of the screen-and-roll game, got on the offensive glass and maneuvered for buckets with his back to the basket. I was really impressed with his defense, walling up to alter shots. Josh’s development will need to be expedited with his newfound role on the team. Schulze took the first step toward his ceiling with a steady night on Tuesday.

Tweener forward can play either the 3 or the 4. Blocks shots, scores in the paint and can knockdown outside jumpers.
