Double-doubles become routine because of his motor, rebounding instincts and consistency inside. Defensively, McWhorter protects the rim reliably and anchors the paint. His productivity and interior presence continue making him one of the more dependable forwards heading into the live period.

He has very good hands, soft touch around the basket, and polished footwork on the block that allow him to score effectively in the paint.
