As the May Evaluation Period tips off on Friday and Division I college coaches hit the road to evaluate talent around the country, several rising seniors will have an opportunity to elevate their recruitment with strong performances on the travel circuit. Here is a look at a handful of prospects college coaches will be closely tracking.    Playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076604' first='Atlanta' last='Xpress'] on the UAA circuit, Edgell is a lanky, left handed wing with size and intriguing offensive versatility. A capable three level scorer, he can make perimeter shots, create offense off the bounce, and finish effectively around the basket. His shooting ability combined with his length makes him a difficult matchup on the wing, and he also flashes playmaking ability as a passer and secondary ball handler. In addition to his offensive skill set, Edgell competes defensively, moves well laterally, and shows a willingness to guard multiple positions. His blend of size, skill, and upside continues to attract attention this spring.     The talented point guard helped lead AE5 on the adidas 3SSB circuit this spring and continues to show why he is one of the more intriguing lead guards in the country. A skilled ball handler with good feel for the game, he is capable of running a team while also creating offense as a scorer when needed. He plays with above average quickness and athleticism, changes speeds effectively to keep defenders off balance, and consistently creates advantages off the dribble. Keith is a reliable shot maker from the perimeter, can score at multiple levels, and competes with toughness and confidence on both ends of the floor. His combination of skill, pace, and basketball IQ makes him a difficult matchup for opposing guards.     The high academic frontcourt prospect brings a strong combination of skill, toughness, and productivity to the floor. He has very good hands, soft touch around the basket, and polished footwork on the block that allow him to score effectively in the paint. Playing with a consistently high motor, he embraces physical play and looks comfortable operating with his back to the basket. He also shows the ability to step away from the rim and knock down open midrange jumpers, adding versatility to his offensive game.     McWhorter's teammate with the Atlanta All-Stars, Cannon is a skilled lead guard who consistently creates offense with his combination of quickness, pace, and shot-making ability. He possesses above-average speed with the basketball, changes speeds well to keep defenders off balance, and does a good job creating separation off the dribble. A reliable perimeter shooter, Cannon can knock down shots from beyond the arc while also creating his own offense in the half court. He is especially effective attacking the paint, where he shows creativity and touch finishing around defenders and length. His ability to score at multiple levels and play with confidence makes him a difficult matchup in the backcourt.     Roberts is a combo forward with impressive length, size, and athleticism who immediately passes the eye test with his physical tools and upside. He is at his best in transition, where he runs the floor well, finishes above the rim, and uses his athleticism to impact the game in the open court. Roberts also rebounds aggressively and covers ground well on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he shows the ability to attack in straight lines off the bounce and continues to expand his versatility as his skill set develops. With his combination of physical tools, mobility, and improving offensive game, Roberts remains a prospect with significant long term upside.
