The 23rd annual Atlanta All-Star Shootout brought together a talented group of prospects from across the state, giving players an opportunity to compete, showcase their games, and make an impression in front of college coaches. Hosted by Southeastern Basketball director William Lopresti, the event featured several underrecruited players who took advantage of the spotlight and delivered strong performances throughout the weekend. From scoring outbursts to players making their presence felt on both ends of the floor, here are some of the top standouts from this year's Atlanta All-Star Shootout.

Sallee had a solid day throughout the event and turned plenty of heads among the college coaches in attendance. His 6-foot-8 frame and impressive length immediately jump out at you and are certainly attributes that college programs get excited about at first glance. Offensively, Sallee brings versatility to the frontcourt, primarily excelling as a back-to-the-basket scorer who can use his size and length to create advantages in the low post. He is also comfortable facing up in the mid-range, knocking down jumpers off pick-and-pops or attacking after facing up against bigger defenders. Sallee consistently puts pressure on the offensive glass as well, creating valuable second-chance opportunities and showing why he has to be accounted for every time a shot goes up. Defensively, he uses his length effectively as a solid rim protector who can alter shots and make things difficult around the basket. With his size, versatility, rebounding ability, and defensive presence, Sallee has the tools to continue developing into an intriguing frontcourt prospect at the next level.

Wiseman jumped out to me after an impressive performance to lead his team to a win in the 5-on-5 championship to close out the day. The explosive wing consistently attacks the cup in both the half court and transition, putting constant pressure on opposing defenses with his athleticism and ability to get downhill. He is always hunting the rim, using a quick first step and an arsenal of moves off the bounce to leave his primary defender in the dust. Wiseman draws plenty of attention once he gets into the paint and showed a great feel for making the right play, consistently kicking the ball out to open shooters or dumping it off to cutters for easy buckets in the lane. His ability to collapse the defense and create opportunities for others adds another layer to his offensive game. He also threw down a few vicious dunks that had everyone out of their seats and showed just how much explosiveness he brings to the floor. Wiseman is a solid guard prospect who looks primed for a breakout senior year at North Cobb Christian and should be a name to keep an eye on moving forward.

Evans was one of the best and purest scorers in attendance, and that ability was on full display throughout the event. He has a great feel for the game and consistently plays out of the advantages he creates, using his speed, strength, and long frame to bully his way into the lane and finish around the rim with an impressive package of college-level guard moves. Playing out of triple-threat situations and utilizing jab steps, Evans is extremely fundamentally sound and does a great job keeping defenders off balance. Despite having the ball in his hands a lot and carrying a significant scoring load, he does not turn it over at a high rate, which is extremely valuable for a primary scorer at the high school level. His mid-range game is another major strength, as he has a smooth pull-up jumper that he can elevate on and knock down over defenders with ease. Evans consistently showed the ability to create his own offense while staying under control and making efficient decisions with the basketball. I expect a massive senior season from this guy as he continues to establish himself as one of the more dangerous scorers to watch.

Lopresti has quickly become one of my favorite players in the state to sit down and watch. He makes the game look incredibly fun every time he steps on the floor, regardless of the role he is asked to fill. Primarily operating as the lead guard, Lopresti showed off his speed and signature ability to whip flashy passes around in transition, consistently setting teammates up for easy buckets. In one of the games I watched, he dished out four or five consecutive assists and made every one of them look effortless. He has an excellent feel for where his teammates are on the floor and consistently fires passes right into their shooting pocket through tight seams, giving them clean looks from deep. Lopresti is also a relentless scorer from beyond the arc, whether he is pulling up off the dribble in transition, coming off a ball screen, or catching and firing from the perimeter. To go along with his perimeter shooting, he is a crafty finisher around the cup who uses floaters and touch to score over interior defenders. His combination of playmaking creativity, shooting ability, and scoring instincts makes him one of the more entertaining and dangerous guards to watch in the state.

Lewis was lights out throughout the entire event and turned the heads of multiple college coaches in attendance. With a couple of college offers already in hand, he further stamped his name as a must-see prospect for small college programs this season. The 6-foot-7 wing brings a ton of versatility to his game, showing the strength to bang down low, power through defenders, and score efficiently around the basket. At the same time, he has the touch and shooting ability to stretch the floor from deep while also creating his own offense off the dribble in the mid-range. That ability to score at multiple levels makes him a difficult matchup and gives him plenty of value as a versatile offensive piece. Defensively, Lewis uses his strength and physicality to clog driving lanes and protect the rim, making his impact felt on both ends of the floor. With his size, versatility, and two-way ability, Lewis has established himself as one of the more intriguing small-college prospects to watch this season.

McWhorter is a stocky-built forward who is a legitimate bruiser down low and brought physicality all day long. Offensively, he uses his strength to power through undersized or inferior defenders and score efficiently around the basket. He also does a nice job recognizing double teams and making the right reads to find teammates for scoring opportunities when defenses collapse on him. Throughout the day, McWhorter created plenty of chaos on the offensive glass, ripping rebound after rebound and consistently generating valuable second-chance opportunities for himself and his team. His combination of strength, patience, and feel with the ball in his hands makes him a dangerous interior scoring threat who can put a ton of pressure on opposing frontcourts. McWhorter has the type of physicality and production that should make him a name college programs circle in their 2027 recruiting class.

Coleman, despite being one of the youngest guards in attendance, excelled throughout the day and showed a level of composure that stood out among the group. His poise with the ball in his hands elevates his game and makes him that much more difficult to guard. He is a legitimate three-level scorer who can create off the dribble in the mid-range, get downhill to the basket, and light it up from deep when given space off the catch. Coleman also brings a scrappy mentality to both ends of the floor, showing the ability to make plays as a facilitator while consistently putting his teammates in position to succeed. Defensively, he is constantly flying around the floor, diving on loose balls, competing for every possession, and using his quick hands to pick opposing guards' pockets. His combination of scoring ability, composure, toughness, and defensive activity gives him a well-rounded game that should continue to develop as he gets older. Coleman is an all-around solid prospect who should have plenty of opportunities to turn the heads of high-level college coaches over the next few years.

Mitchell is arguably one of the best perimeter scorers in the entire state and put that ability on full display Saturday. His pure shooting mechanics and sky-high confidence in his ability to let it fly make him an incredibly dangerous three-point threat. Mitchell was a flamethrower from deep throughout the day, and I'm not sure I saw him miss consecutive shots from beyond the arc. What makes him so difficult to defend is his ability to knock down shots whether he has plenty of space or a defender right in his face, showing no hesitation when it comes to letting it fly. He also showed some legitimate flashes of his playmaking ability, whipping passes around in transition and making the right reads as a passer out of ball-screen situations. In my opinion, Mitchell is the most underrated college prospect in Georgia, and his ability to completely change the flow of a game with his shooting gives him tremendous value. Whoever snatches him up at the college level will have a hidden gem on their hands.
