Worley is the type of player who is going to be impactful even when his shots aren’t falling, simply because of how many things he does well on the floor. However, in the game I watched against Big Shots WV Reign, his shots were falling, plus he was doing all of his typical, winning things. Dakarai went for 9 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals in that win. He is one of the best rebounders in the state, regardless of class or position, plus he has great instincts in passing lanes and can guard multiple positions, making him a very well-rounded defender.

Rounding out the list of All-State players from the 843 is Dakarai Worley Dakarai Worley 6'2" | CG Mullins | 2027 State SC of Mullins High School. Dakarai put up some ridiculous stat lines over the course of the year, including three 30-point games and 11 games of 20 or more rebounds. Some of his season stat lines are hard to believe, but if you’ve ever seen Worley on one of those nights, it is a treat to watch.

Worley wasn’t as productive from a statistical standpoint as he usually is, but there were still some intriguing things to see on Day Two. Dakarai was used all over the court – in his natural spot as a ball-handler but also as a screener, in the dunker-spot, and on in the post vs smaller guards. He had a major size advantage in the game, so that might just be matchup-dependent, but it’s a wrinkle that the Aucs can use to throw defenses off.

Worley plays over in the Pee Dee area of the Palmetto State for the Auctioneers. Dakarai averaged 14.7 ppg, 10.2 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 2.4 assists.

Worley does a great job of rebounding the ball on both sides of the court especially from the guard position. He really shows good body control on the way to the bucket while finishing with his left-hand very nicely. Dakarai likes to play his game from the mid-range in on the floor.

Worley chimes in at #18 after being ranked #33 in the class.

Dakarai plays for Mullins High School in 2A Region 7. He is a Guard who excels at beating defenders off the dribble, getting paint touches, and finishing at the bucket or finding open teammates. Worley has a good handle, floor vision, length, and speed. Dakari is a confident scorer who has a good pull-up game and can finish around rim protectors at the rim. Worley is a two-sport athlete who also plays football for the Auctioneers.
