Darlington 53, Holy Innocents' 50

Despite losing a key starter in the Elite Eight, Darlington (30-2) completed its championship run by knocking off defending champion Holy Innocents' (26-4) in a gritty finish. The Tigers started ice cold at 3-for-17 from the field and missed their first seven three-point attempts before finding their rhythm in the second quarter. A 6-of-13 surge flipped a 12-6 deficit into a 25-23 halftime lead.

Holy Innocents' battled through foul trouble as Belmont-signee [player_tooltip player_id='1696172' first='Devin' last='Hutcherson'] picked up his third foul late in the second quarter and didn't return until midway through the third. Still, the Golden Bears stayed afloat, even taking a 34-33 lead entering the fourth.

The game ultimately belonged to [player_tooltip player_id='2297166' first='DJ' last='Hall']. The standout guard delivered a dominant 30-point performance, adding 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals while shooting 9-of-17 from the field, 5-of-8 from three, and 7-of-9 from the line. Hall scored key buckets down the stretch, including a driving finish with 2:54 left and a tough eurostep with 1:21 remaining to push the lead to 50-45.

After a late three from [player_tooltip player_id='3423714' first='Jaden' last='McCullough'] cut it to 51-49, Hall sealed the win with two free throws in the final seconds. Hutcherson's desperation three at the buzzer fell short, ending Holy Innocents' bid for back-to-back titles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2570508' first='Cam' last='Selig'] added 9 points and 8 rebounds for Darlington, while Hutcherson led Holy Innocents' with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Mays chipped in 10 points on an efficient 4-of-5 shooting.

Jackson poured in 25 points and 7 rebounds, including 11 in the fourth quarter after a quiet third. [player_tooltip player_id='2125526' first='Derrick' last='Shine'] contributed 11 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436946' first='AJ' last='Williams'] stepped up with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and a strong all-around effort, while Christaan Gandy added 12 points and 5 rebounds, but the Bulldogs couldn't hold off Cross Creek's late surge.
