Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
The junior is a long, lean, mobile, and athletic forward who brings versatility to the frontcourt. He can finish above the rim, is effective as a screen-and-roll option, and runs the floor well in transition. Moon also shows comfort in short-roll situations, has a developing midrange jumper, and consistently plays with a high motor.

Slender but impactful, Moon is a stretch big who makes a difference on both ends. He runs the floor well, finishes with authority, and is quick off the ground. Moon shows flashes of mid-range shooting ability and handles the ball well enough to start the break. A high-upside combo-forward.

Anthony Moon is that glue guy who is just getting more familiar and confident in his game. He showed nice awareness in Atlanta positioning himself for offensive rebounds that led to a putback. He also is active around the glass keeping possessions alive for his team. Though he didn’t connect on any attempts from behind the arc, the strength is there as he was overshooting in most cases. The corner three though is sometimes more difficult because of the depth perception not being quickly recognizable without the backboard. If Moon gets that feel back for the long ball and continues to grow his inside game, he will see his minutes and touches increase as the circuit moves on.

is one of the most intriguing Peach State Prospects that I have seen so far this season. He is an extremely long Freshman who already plays big minutes for the Pebblebrook Falcons. Moon is a lanky 6’6″ with a frame that will only continue to grow and fill out. He is a tremendous rim protector already and has a high floor as a pick-and-roll or lob threat. He had 6 points and 3 rebounds in Pebblebrook’s loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (SC) on Saturday.
