I’ve seen Fleming play a couple of times now, but this was the most I’ve seen him with the ball in his hands. He truly looked like a guard, displaying the passing vision and ability to set up his teammates before he hunted his own shot. De’Cori has some very intriguing physical attributes, such as positional size, length, and athleticism, but his consistent motor on both ends of the floor and efficiency with the ball in his hands is what allowed him to stand out to me in Columbia.

Fleming put together an impressive spring with the Southern Kings on the New Balance P32 circuit, consistently showcasing the athleticism, competitiveness, and versatility that make him a college prospect. A three level scorer, he can impact the game from beyond the arc, in the midrange, and at the rim, giving defenses multiple challenges. Fleming is a high level athlete who plays above the rim and thrives in transition, where his explosiveness and motor stand out. He competes relentlessly on every possession, bringing energy and toughness on both ends of the floor. In addition to his scoring ability, Fleming rebounds at a high level for his position and embraces the defensive end, using his athleticism and effort to guard multiple positions and make plays.

The lengthy wing moves smoothly with the basketball and creates offense naturally off the bounce. De’Cori uses between-the-legs dribble combinations to set defenders up before either rising into pull-up threes or blowing by for explosive finishes at the rim.

His athleticism and length translate well defensively too. Fleming possesses switchability and comfortably guards both perimeter players and bigger forwards. The combination of shot-making, ball skills and defensive versatility gives him major upside entering the live period.

-The SKG Elite guard really put on a show with a balanced scoring effort that impacted the game from start to finish. The explosive guard started things off with a 2-handed dunk off the spin move in transition, hit floaters off two feet in the key, drove the ball C2C before landing on two and scoring off the reverse pivot, hit a crossover sidestep 3 from the left wing (his third of the day), ripped through from the wing in a straight line drive to the rim where he finished with a poster dunk, hit the roller with a shovel pass after drawing help in the paint, and finished things off with a double crossover into the downhill extension lay just past the outstretched hand of the defender. Fleming is the very definition of a Georgia athlete as he showed off blazing speed in the open court, a very quick second jump to block a shot under the basket, and was willing to throw his weight around on box-outs in the paint. The blend of aggression, lateral quickness, and + positional size allowed him to guard multiple spots throughout the contest to give his team much-needed lineup versatility. Underrated prospect to track in 2027.

I love what Fleming brings to the table. His versatility on both ends of the ball leads to production. His offensive game is poised to take a massive step forward. He’s smooth shooting the ball off the dribble and of course can make things happen as a slasher.

Prime for a breakthrough season. Looked extremely good on the perimeter, the lengthy wing smooth with the ball. Fleming used between the legs dribble moves to set up defenders before netting pull-up threes or blowing by for slams. Holds switchability on defense able to defend inside and out. Played within himself and didn’t get sucked into the lackadaisical play of camp.

Against Union County’s 1-3-1 zone, Fleming hit timely jumpers from the high post. His soft touch in pockets of the defense hurt the Panthers, especially in the first half. Fleming listed at about 6-foot-3, plays bigger than his height. The wiry combo-forward finished with 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Fleming has length on the perimeter and is an active player on both ends. He flashes some 3&D skills, netting a corner three and hitting a mid-range pull-up vs. Campbell.
