Jenkins was ranked #2 in South Carolina’s 2027 class before transferring out of state and reclassifying a year ago, but since then, the national attention around his name has skyrocketed. He has always been an intriguing prospect because of his size and athleticism, but K’majay’s on-ball playmaking has steadily improved since he first broke onto the scene as a freshman. In a matchup with A Wigg Elite on Saturday, Jenkins took over the game in the second half and went on to finish with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists. His squad couldn’t hold onto a lead and lost in overtime, but his persistence on the offensive glass and dominance in transition were the biggest reasons why they had a lead in the first place.

The sophomore looked increasingly comfortable with his new team this week, scoring in double figures in all three games while averaging a double-double.
