One of the nation’s top prospects in the 2028 class, Hayes continued his impressive offseason averaging 16.4 points for Atlanta Xpress
over 5 games. A high level athlete with with elite size and length on the wing, Hayes can score at all three levels and has become a playmaking threat. The rising junior can create his own shot off the dribble and has all the physical characteristics to be one of the best defenders in the country.
One of the country’s top wing prospects in the 2028 class, Hayes was very impressive at GBCA Live for Woodward Academy. A high level athlete with size, length and a high baskteball IQ, Hayes continues to show improvement as a shot maker and a playmaker. He can score at all three levels and is impressive as a shot creator. In addition to his offensive skill set, Hayes has the ability to provide plenty of value on the defensive end as well. Expect Hayes’ recruiting stock to continue to rise.
Showing a strong ability to make tough shots, he presents himself as a versatile guard who can both run the offense and create his own scoring opportunities. He’s capable of generating buckets for himself while also facilitating for teammates. An elite presence on both ends of the floor, he impacts the game with explosive athleticism and consistent two-way production.
One of the fastest-rising wings in the nation in the 2028 class, Hayes helped lead Woodward Academy to a 5A runner-up finish. He is a high-level athlete with excellent size and length, paired with a strong feel for the game. An improving shot maker, he continues to expand his offensive skill set, while his physical tools give him tremendous upside. Hayes also has all the makings of an outstanding defender, with the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
He set the tone from the opening tip with infectious intensity, applying pressure on both ends. Standing 6’6″ with exceptional length, he creates constant issues for smaller guards, using his reach and physical tools to disrupt actions defensively. Offensively, he brings a versatile combo guard profile, balancing playmaking with scoring while keeping the team organized. He punctuated the first half with an explosive finish at the rim. His shooting stroke is clean and repeatable, and his size allows him to elevate over contests without being affected by closeouts.
Another high-level prospect at Woodward Academy, Hayes is a dynamic, high-flying wing with significant long-term upside. He possesses excellent positional size and length, which he pairs with a high basketball IQ and strong defensive instincts. His perimeter shooting and decision-making have both shown clear improvement, adding polish to an already intriguing skill set.
Hayes is a very good defender who uses his athleticism and motor to impact the game on that end of the floor, and as his offensive consistency continues to grow, his ceiling remains extremely high. With his physical tools, developing skill, and competitive edge, he has the potential to emerge as one of the nation’s top prospects in the 2028 class.
Has become a consistent scoring threat in Year 2. Averaging 14.2 points, 6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. Steady outside shooter connecting on 33% of his threes. Long, bouncy guard. Four-star has offers from Missouri and Xavier.
Another standout from the 2028 class on Monday was Hayes, who scored 18 points for the War Eagles in a win over ELCA. The sophomore delivered a couple of high-flying finishes, but it was his perimeter shooting and decision-making that stood out most. Hayes continues to grow more comfortable and confident from beyond the arc, while also making positive plays on the defensive end. With his trajectory and skill set, the ceiling is very high for this young prospect.

has elite level size and athleticism on the wing. His perimeter shot making looks improved this season to pair with a very high basketball IQ for a young prospect. The son of former NBA Lottery Pick Jarvis Hayes, Myles has the potential to make a name for himself at the game’s highest levels.
I almost listed Hayes as a standout on Saturday because he had maybe the best 4 possession stretch I saw all weekend with a wing 3, putback layup, blocked shot and assist. On Sunday, Hayes was consistently making an impact and flying around the court. I was impressed with his shiftiness on the ball and his high release point allowed him to take and make contested shots. Woodward Academy players had an excellent weekend and the greater Atlanta area had more standouts than any other part of the country this weekend.
