Locus is the definition of a do-it-all lead guard—controls tempo, gets downhill and makes winning plays. He went for 20 points, 13 rebounds in the state title game, including clutch late buckets and defensive plays. Scouting-wise, he’s a power guard in a point guard body—strong frame, lives in the paint, finishes through contact and creates for others.

Locus’ heatseeking missile approach when it came to getting to the rim attracted referees to blow their whistle. Locus took 15 free throws cashing in on eight as he finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds in a thrilling overtime win over Butler. Zeki is an explosive athlete with a nose for the ball. He had two steals back-to-back on sideline out of bounds plays to end regulation as Butler struggled to inbound. Zeki is a fierce competitor with a knack for making plays.

of Morgan County (GA). Zeki isn’t an overly flashy player with high-flying athleticism or fancy dribble moves, but he has a level of hunger to make “dog-like” plays on both ends of the floor. He shows up in several areas on the box score, tallying 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists in the nightcap, but he will also do other little things, like drawing charges. This was my first look at Locus and Morgan County, but if last night’s game was any indication of the type of player he is and the type of team they are, it will be a fun season for the Bulldogs.

Explosive attacker. Slices through the defense to dish to open shooters. Finishes at the rim with both hands. Bouncy finisher. Great speed and strength. Adding range to his jumper will help his stock. Co-Region Player of the Year averaged 13.4 points, 9 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 3.8 steals.
