Covenant Christian @ Lapel

Covenant Christian is still without 6'9" junior big man [player_tooltip player_id='2873936' first='Josh' last='Bowers'], but 6'2" senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='3046794' first='Isaac' last='Crane'] has stepped up to average a double-double in his absence. Crane averages 20.0 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Fellow seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2380882' first='Cason' last='Soots'] and Parker Williams add 11.7 points per game a piece for the 11-8 Warriors. As for Lapel, the Bulldogs have quietly put together a strong 13-5 season including winning nine of their last 10 games. They will likely enter Sectional 39 as the favorite. Lapel features a balanced scoring attack led by junior Owen Garber's 14.5 points per game. Senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1139937' first='Devin' last='Craig'] adds 13.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while Luke Jones chips in 13.2 points per game.

Delta @ Pendleton Heights

Did you know Pendleton Heights was 15-4 this season? The Arabians have quietly gone about this business and have simply been winning basketball games. University of Saint Francis signee [player_tooltip player_id='1560972' first='Cooper' last='Sims'] is their star averaging 21.5 points per game while shooting 40-108 (37.0%) from three-point range. Delta is never an easy team to play against though. They execute at a high level and will control the pace. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2813685' first='Lucas' last='Bragg'] paces the Eagles with 10.7 points while sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2797662' first='Ryan' last='Lynch'] and junior Chase Phillips add 9.7 points per game a piece. 6'7" freshman center [player_tooltip player_id='2958507' first='Walker' last='Johnson'] continues to come into his own as well. The young big man averages 7.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Roncalli @ Guerin Catholic

There aren't many teams playing better basketball right now than Guerin Catholic. The Golden Eagles have worked their way back into the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A Top 10 after rattling off eight straight wins to improve to 16-5 on the season. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140383' first='Jake' last='Grissom'] has been on fire of late as well. He leads Guerin in scoring with 21.2 points per game. 6'7" junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2137375' first='Carter' last='Murans'] adds 10.5 points per game for the Golden Eagles while junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140371' first='Hayden' last='Rogers'] averages 9.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Roncalli is 13-6 on the year led by unsigned senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1989375' first='Conner' last='Kesler'] who averages 15.3 points per game. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2850399' first='Luke' last='Feldman'] adds 12.8 points while recent Purdue Northwest commit [player_tooltip player_id='2046166' first='Joe' last='Taylor'] averages 12.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. This will be a fun rivalry game between the two Catholic schools.

Oak Hill @ Marion

This is the game that I'll be covering this evening. Marion has struggled as a team this season, they are just 5-12, but unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1989433' first='Tim' last='Jones Jr.'] continues to put up some big numbers for the Giants. The talented lefty playmaker averages 20.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. Meanwhile, Oak Hill is ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Poll with a 17-1 record. Junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2266894' first='Jace' last='Tonagel'] leads the way averaging 14.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game while his freshman brother [player_tooltip player_id='2956681' first='Will' last='Tonagel'] adds 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. Senior guard RJ Shugart is one to watch as well. He adds 12.6 points per game for the Golden Eagles and recently put up 32 points in a win over Blackford.

South Decatur @ Greensburg

Down in southern Indiana this will be the game to watch. 9-12 Greensburg is led by talented junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140380' first='Jacoby' last='Miller'] who averages 15.3 points per game. They will be facing a 13-5 South Decatur team who won't be an easy out in a wide open Sectional 59. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1880285' first='Drake' last='Scaggs'] puts up 20.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. Classmate Cayden Drake averages 18.7 points and 8.1 rebounds in the front court for the Cougars.
