It would be hard to find many, if any, better pure playmakers and passers in Indiana’s Class of 2027 than this Oak Hill High School point guard. Tonagel ran the show on Friday night scoring 11 points and dishing out 12 assists in a 73-50 win over Blackford. The Golden Eagles are now 16-1 on the season.

Oak Hill is a perfect 12-0 on the season and have moved into the #1 spot in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10. Tonagel is tied with his brother for the scoring lead at 14.8 points per game while also averaging 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. His numbers, along with Oak Hill’s success, has made him a legitimate Indiana Junior All-Star candidate. We definitely will be catching a game in Converse before the end of the year.

Until Saturday it was fair to question “who have they played” when looking at Oak Hill’s undefeated season. However, the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A #3 Golden Eagles knocked off Zionsville 51-43 to answer any and all of those questions. Jace Tonagel Jace Tonagel 5'11" | PG Oak Hill | 2027 State IN , a talented junior guard, had 16 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals in the win. Oak Hill is now 10-0 on the season. He also had 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in a win over Peru.

Tonagel stepped into a major role right away as a freshman and only got more comfortable as a sophomore. The 5’11” point guard averaged 19.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.6 steals per game for Oak Hill High School while shooting an incredible 69-168 (41.1%) from three-point range.
