We continue to buy more and more stock in Bowers. First off, it is hard to come across legitimately 6’9″-6’10” centers. Secondly, he has some legitimate interior skill to get excited about. He is a guy that you can throw it to on the roll or rim run and expect him to finish it. Bowers is pretty fluid for his size, shows the ability to rebound outside of his area, and can block shots at a high level. As he continues to get stronger he will on blossom further. Look for him to have a monster season at Covenant Christian this winter.

We became really high on Bowers over the course of the summer and had the chance to see him play well again on Sunday evening at the Metro Indy Fall League. The 6’9″-6’10” center finished multiple putbacks in a short span showcasing his footwork and soft hands for his size. Bowers will play his junior season at Covenant Christian and should start to generate some more buzz across the state as a high upside big man in the Class of 2027.

This 6’10” center really burst onto the scene this summer playing with Indiana Elite Central 16u and now will suit up for Covenant Christian for his junior season. Bowers spent his first two years playing for one of the top homeschool teams in the state. He averaged 12.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game last season as a sophomore. It will be good to see him play consistently against IHSAA competition as an upperclassman.

Bowers has consistently been one of the most impressive in-state big men through the spring. He stands at a legitimate 6’9″-6’10”, but still has solid footwork, runs the floor well, and isn’t clumsy when he catches the ball around the basket. Making his debut here at #37 in our Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings, Bowers will attend Covenant Christian for his junior season. He is definitely one that college coaches across all levels should mark down and track the development of over the next year or so. There are plenty of tools to like already.

This 6’10” rising junior center will suit up at Covenant Christian next season. He continued to catch our eye throughout the day on Saturday as he did during the fall playing with Indiana Elite Central 16u. Bowers obviously has the requisite size to play inside, but also moves pretty fluidly for his size, finishes with his right hand over his left shoulder, and flashes some upside as a rebounder and interior defender. He is just scratching the surface, but the upside is very intriguing.
