Davis won the game at the buzzer with a putback layup that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Coming off the bench, Davis finished with four points, six rebounds and three defensive stocks. One of the best all around athletes in Ohio, Davis has already made an impact for Moeller at both football and basketball as a freshman. Incredibly physically advanced, Davis is already an elite defender and rebounds and you cannot overpower him at either end of the court despite his age. Expect to hear a lot about Davis over the next four years for the Crusaders.

I really liked how Trenz impacted the game on both ends of the court despite pedestrian stat totals at the end of the night. Trenz made some nice passes in the low and high post to teammates and looked confident with the ball in his hands that he wasn't going to turn it over. Also blocking a shot and contesting numerous others in the paint, Trenz is going to provide length and rim protection for Moeller early this season. Still developing as a scorer, Trenz does already have soft touch and projects as a potential Division I prospect if he continues to develop.

A statement performance by Kelly, he was sensational as a play finisher, moving without the basketball and making himself available to catch and score. With a game that is going to fit in perfectly from day one at the small college level, Kelly is strong, efficient and tough, bringing winning qualities to the court. While I don't expect him to average 20 PPG this season, Kelly's efficiency should remain as he basically never forces the issue and Kelly's teammates, especially sophomore point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2885759' first='Bubba' last='Donald'], do an excellent job at finding him when he's open.

Coming in clutch when his team needed it the most, Bakos made big shot after big shot on Saturday evening to lead Kettering Alter with 18 points on the night. The zone defense Moeller ran allowed Bakos to sneak around and find holes to catch and fire away in the blink of an eye. Bakos heat check from way behind the line was nothing but net and that was a huge momentum boost for the Knights. After playing a complimentary role on a senior laden group last year, Bakos is a clear leader for the Knights as a Junior with their core four of Bakos, [player_tooltip player_id='2386495' first='Naceive' last='Fenton Jr'], [player_tooltip player_id='2677124' first='Grant' last='Guess'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2878774' first='William' last='Peagler Jr'] combining to score all but four points on Saturday.

One of the top freshman guards in the state, Peagler Jr is an elite passer who made some crazy pocket passes in traffic for assists. A strong downhill athlete, Peagler's righty finishing ability despite being a left-handed shooter should draw similarities to Lawrent Rice as a finisher, despite being a couple inches shorter than the former Huber Heights Wayne star. Peagler Jr had multiple finishes through the teeth of the defense and was fearless in his high school debut. Another name who will be a hot topic of conversation over the next four years, Peagler Jr's name will come up time and time again on this website when we discuss the top 2029 point guards and top players in Dayton over the next four years.
