I had seen Jamir in camp settings and with a [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] team where he was sharing the ball with a lot of talented teammates, but this was my first time seeing him with Eden Prairie where he'll look to have a big role as a sophomore. Against a scrappy St. Paul Johnson defense Jamir was having success slashing to the rim from the wing, as well as using his speed to break the press and get open looks at the rim. Davis showcased his bounce in the open floor with a dunk as well as some acrobatic finishes through contact. I was also impressed with his comfort to take and make a handful of threes off the catch.

As a freshman playing in the loaded Lake Conference last year, there were times where Willie looked a bit timid offensively. He could make an impact on the defensive end, but wasn't always looking to score. That seems to have changed as he came out firing on Sunday against Farmington. Farmington was able to put length on him as they have a very big team, but Willie had no problem connecting on pull-up jumpers over the top. He had the quickness to get to his spots in the mid-range and could stop on a dime to elevate for a shot. Parents in the stands were left going "wow" as Willie drained a number of tough jumpers as he looked to keep his team in the game.

With a lot of attention going to the pair of high major commits starting for Wayzata, I think Brady is going to shoot an impressive percentage from three this year. He's a high level shooter at 6'6, and against Edina he was able to repeatedly find pockets of space for kick-out passes before putting three points on the board. Even with all of the talent Wayzata has, they all share the ball, and Brady was always ready to make a quick decision on whether to shoot, pass, or attack whenever it came his way.

Owen should be a key player for an Osseo team that should take a step forward this winter. Against St. Paul Johnson he showcased a lightning quick release from three, with range extending to well beyond the arc. He's equally talented shooting both off the catch or pulling up off the dribble, with a shifty handle to create separation when needed. Owen is able to act as his team's primary ball handler at times as he's comfortable under pressure, but can also play off the ball. Impressive flashes from the 2027 guard on Sunday.

If Jermaine keeps playing like he has over the past six months, he'll have a legitimate case for St. Paul City Conference MVP. The senior guard is a standout on both ends of the floor, and has the potential to be an elite defender this season. He can pick up and defend point guards for 94 feet, as good instincts to jump passes on the wing, and has the explosiveness to come up with a block or two on most games. Against Eden Prairie he brought his team back from a deficit with a big run in the second half, knocking down some threes and finishing at the rim through contact. High flying athlete who will be fun to watch this winter.

You don't find a lot of guys at 6'9 with the perimeter skillset that Briggs possesses. Minnetonka started off defending him with their 6'7-6'8 big, but after Briggs drained an early three over him, they were forced to defend him with a smaller wing who could stick with him on the perimeter. Tonka threw a number of defenders on him, but Briggs still found space for a few threes, was going to work in the post on smaller defenders, and had a couple of nice passes off the dribble to set up his teammates. He capped off the win with an alley-oop dunk in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412724' first='Dre' last='Collins'] started to take over down the stretch in a win over Shakopee. The 6'4 slasher just has a nose for the rim, with the combination of athleticism and body control to finish just about everything inside. Showed a quick spin move into a finish on the left hand side, leaked out for some transition dunks, and also hit a pair of mid-range jumpers, really showcasing a new aspect to his game. Dre combines with a number of talented juniors to form one of the best 2027 classes in the state at Richfield.
