The lone out-of-state team competing in this year's Sneakers For Santa Shootout is Male High School out of Louisville, Kentucky. Their star player, Western Kentucky commit Cole Edelen, transferred to Overtime Elite, but Class of 2028 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2360949' first='Trey' last='Hillerich'] gives the Bulldogs a very talented 6'9" interior presence. They will be going up against, arguably, the most talented team in the state of Indiana. Pike features 6'11" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'], 6'2" junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'], 6'6" junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2266897' first='Kenneth' last='Lampley'], and 6'6" sophomore wing [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley']. Hill, Miller, and the younger Lampley are all nationally ranked prospects. College coaches will definitely want to make their way to Brownsburg High School for this evening matchup at the 2025 Sneakers For Santa Shootout.

It doesn't get any better than this. The front runner for the 2026 Indiana Mr. Basketball award, [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'], will lead his Mt. Vernon (Fortville) team against a Fishers squad that is 59-2 over the course of the last two seasons. Ertel was an Indiana Junior All-Star averaging 22.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game last year. The Top 50 national prospect and Purdue commit will give the Marauders a chance in every single game this season. In this matchup he will be going up against one of the best backcourts in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='2267046' first='Jason' last='Gardner Jr.'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary'] have gone an incredible 59-2 with a Class 4A State Championship and State Runner-Up to their names in two seasons. Along with 6'8" senior forward/center [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'], the Tigers will once again be one of the top teams in the state. This nightcap should be a fun one for everyone in attendance.
