One of the most versatile players in the class, Jaymes is capable of guarding any position on the floor. Clark makes an impact without having to score the ball a ton. What’s more impressive is that when he needs to, Jaymes can score at a high rate.

Clark’s production has been vital to the Bulldogs’ success this year. Leading a solid senior campaign, he’ll enter the rivalry match averaging 13.8 PPG and 5.6 RPG. Coming off a season high of 24 points versus PRP earlier this week, Male’s odds of winning with or without Mitchell will be heavily dependent on Jaymes’ performance.

Clark is one of the most impactful players in the class, in my opinion. Capable of scoring on offense or locking down on the opposing team’s best player, Jaymes is super versatile. His offer list is long and full of really strong NAIA schools but Clark has shown he can be an impact freshman at any level and will be a steal for some college.

Clark has been a steady performer his entire senior season and that continued in Male’s dominant opening round victory on Friday afternoon. Clark’s athleticism and defensive ability stands out on the court as he’s able to force turnovers and quickly run out in transition for breakaway slam dunks. With a college ready frame and the ability to knock down shots off the catch, Clark is a no brainer for top regional scholarship programs, already holding five offers. Expect to hear a lot more about Clark and the Bulldogs as the season progresses.

Clark left camp with multiple new offers and it was easy to see why. Jaymes is a very versatile player who should benefit quite a bit from the transfers out of Male this summer. Able to play with the ball in his hands and lock down on the defensive end, Jaymes has a ton of potential as a two way wing prospect and could start drawing more offers if he shoots the ball at a high level this season.

Clark moved up from 31st to 22nd and looks like he could be the biggest beneficiary of players transferring from Male this fall. A do-it-all guard/wing from Louisville, Jaymes has been a really good role player over his career but is likely to have a bigger role for the Bulldogs this winter. With his ability to switch across multiple positions on defense, Clark has the skills to be a college role player from day one at the next level.

A true Swiss army knife, Jaymes is in a position to shine with the loss of Cole Edelen to prep school. Clark has been the ultimate role player for the last couple of seasons but should be one of the go to scorers for a Male squad that has potential to have the most pure talent in the state. Look for Jaymes to be a contender for regional player of the year and should add more scholarship offers.

Male has been rolling this summer and they look like a state title contender with a nice mix of senior and sophomore talent on their roster. Clark is one of the familiar faces as the ultra-athletic wing made numerous plays in transition showing off his burst and explosiveness. Clark is not afraid to attack off the dribble and get all the way to the rim and his confidence helped Male break out of a few scoring droughts. A no brainer scholarship target, Clark is one of a handful of players who drew college coaches to Male games this afternoon.

Jaymes is a Swiss army knife type of player because he does a little bit of everything for his team. Whether it’s Male high school or Midwest Basketball Club, Clark is capable of impacting winning on both ends of the court and is an active defender who really applies pressure on opposing guards and wings. Clark doesn’t jump off the court at you when watching him but multiple viewings help you to realize just how valuable he is.

On a team stacked with Division I talent, Clark isn’t asked to do too much off the bench for one of the top 17 U teams in the Midwest. Hustle, defend and make the simple pass are things that can be difficult for a lot of kids to bring as one of the last scoring options on the wing. I was really impressed with Clark’s energy Vs Indy Heat EYBL as he had a couple steals, got his hands on loose balls and putback layups to make a positive impact as a glue guy. Players who can make an impact with more talented players around them usually find the court sooner rather than later at the college level and I expect scholarship programs to be very interested in Clark due to his ability to fit in.
