There were approximately 180 players in the gym at Asbury's Luce Center last weekend, including several of the top players in the state. Here are some names that impressed me at camp. Keep in mind that I did not see every prospect play so there will probably be some names left off the list who played well. These are only the top players that I scouted, personally.

Stiefel could be the most athletic prospect in the entire Senior class. He's certainly the most athletic player that almost no one knows about. Jeremiah is electric in the open floor and showed that he is a true sleeper in this 2026 class with his play at camp. The best thing the 6'4" guard can do is learn to change speeds better. He's currently 100 miles per hour at all times. If he can start to change speeds off the bounce, Stiefel has a lot of tools to impress coaches in the short and long terms.

Clark left camp with multiple new offers and it was easy to see why. Jaymes is a very versatile player who should benefit quite a bit from the transfers out of Male this summer. Able to play with the ball in his hands and lock down on the defensive end, Jaymes has a ton of potential as a two way wing prospect and could start drawing more offers if he shoots the ball at a high level this season.

Currently unranked, Johnson has really turned the corner in the last 6 months or so. A tenacious defender who played a role for GRC last season, I expect JaMylyn to have a breakout year as a Junior. At camp, he was relentless with the ball in his hands and showed that he can finish on the break and knock down open shots in the half court. Named an all star at camp, don't be surprised if he ends up with more college offers in addition to is current offer from Tennessee Wesleyan.

Owens is one of the top freshmen in the state and looked MUCH better than he did when I saw him this summer. Alijah was likely the best player on his team even though he was also the youngest. Able to score the ball in high volumes, Owens had a very strong showing at camp and established himself as one of the top freshmen guards in a class that is LOADED with good guards.

Next Up camp was my first time seeing Gavin live in a couple of years. He left a very strong impression and was one of the best players at the event, in my opinion. Lightning showed the ability to score inside and out as well as grabbing a rebound and pushing the break by himself. Gavin has some great positional size and clearly knows how to use his body to finish through contact. We plugged him in at 12th in the rankings update but he's probably a little better than that. Especially with a big Senior season.
