Stiefel could be the most athletic prospect in the entire Senior class. He’s certainly the most athletic player that almost no one knows about. Jeremiah is electric in the open floor and showed that he is a true sleeper in this 2026 class with his play at camp. The best thing the 6’4″ guard can do is learn to change speeds better. He’s currently 100 miles per hour at all times. If he can start to change speeds off the bounce, Stiefel has a lot of tools to impress coaches in the short and long terms.

Stiefel is an explosive athlete who makes an impact on both ends of the court. He helps the offense with smart passing at the top of the floor, attacks the rim with quick drives, and uses his length to clean up rebounds. Defensively, his size and leaping ability allow him to block shots inside and on the perimeter, while his quickness makes him a threat to come up with steals. With a strong motor and above-the-rim finishing ability, Stiefel stands out as a dynamic two-way player who brings energy and toughness every possession.

One thing Stiefel doesn’t lack is athleticism. He’s a top tier athlete in Kentucky’s 2026 class. Most importantly, Jeremiah has enrolled and is playing KHSAA basketball now instead of for his home school team where he was expected to get 20+ every game for his team to compete. Now at Danville Christian, look for Stiefel to continue to improve and work his way into a legitimate scholarship level player with an increase in talent level he’s competing with every night.

Jeremiah’s game is actually similar to Walton’s. Super athletic and playing with a good motor, the best thing that Stiefel could do is enroll at a public school and play a higher level of competition than he currently does. He could be a big piece for some school in a push towards Rupp Arena.

We rarely see home schooled players unless they come to events and that’s exactly what Stiefel did on Saturday. He looked impressive in doing so. Jeremiah has good length and skill level. He would fit in with any team in Lexington or Louisville and will be an interesting prospect to evaluate with more talent around him.
