Expert Analysis

Peter had a quiet freshman season at West Jessamine but he remains one of my favorite high potential prospects in the class. Patterson has looked really good at times when matched up against the best of the rest of the class and I’d be interested to see how he fares against other bigs on this list.

Peter had a fairly underwhelming Freshman season at West Jessamine compared to the potential he showed at our Freshman event in August. Patterson has the size and tools to be a very impactful big and will have the chance to show it playing on the 15 EYBL with Team Thad.

Peter has not played a ton of varsity for West Jessamine this season but he has been impressive in every camp setting I have seen him in. A big body who goes after the ball and rebounds at a high level, I’ve liked what I have seen from Patterson in the times I’ve seen him. Long term, Patterson has as much, or more upside than anyone in the class not name

Patterson is a very intriguing prospect with good size and seems to have a pretty good motor. Like most bigs his age, Peter likes to float around the perimeter a little more than he should but he has flashed some perimeter skills. As a pure back to the basket post scorer, Patterson is one of the bigger prospects in the class and knows how to score around the rim. It looks like he may not be done growing yet, too. The thing that has impressed me the most in multiple viewings with Peter is that he rebounds the ball at a high level and tends to not back down against bigger, older players. Barely 15 years old, Patterson would be a good player to get some stock in now.

At 6’8, Peter was the biggest player at our showcase and he let it be known. Peter is a legit post presence, and scored at will when he got the ball on the block. He crashes the offensive boards hard and could not be stopped when he did. I was impressed with how hard he ran the floor for his size, he had multiple transition dunks from it. He will be a name to watch for West Jessamine.

this season at West Jessamine. If he continues to develop, Peter is nowhere near what he could be but is productive right now and should get better. I would love to see

Peter was a player I had not seen play before but he left me pretty impressed. A high level rebounder who flashed some skill around the bucket and wasn’t afraid to step out and shoot a 3, Patterson looks like a very high potential player. At 6’8″, he was the tallest player at camp and actually played like it. He rebounded over smaller players and finished comfortably over everyone. West Jessamine has themselves a nice player for the next four years.

The tallest prospect in the event. Patterson definitely passes the eye test and I look forward to seeing him play in person. West could have a hidden gem on their roster.
