Brayden has a strong frame and is a good shooter. He looks like he’s still growing and could be an impact player in the region next season. This summer should be all about development and working on his ball skills, especially handling the ball in traffic.

Haffley is a player whose game I like more and more with each viewing. Very skilled, Brayden is a good driver and knows how to finish at the rim. Also a solid shooter, Haffley should have an opportunity to carve out a role for himself as a varsity player this season. Brayden is a name to track, long term.

Brayden was another guy that I personally did not know going into the showcase. He was one of the most naturally athletic guys at the event. He was a guy that made winning plays and hustle plays left and right. He kept multiple possessions alive by crashing the glass, and his sneaky athleticism had him able to score downhill. West Jessamine will benefit from him as he continues to develop.

Right about the time I though that Haffley had been having a quiet day, he went on a 7-0 run by himself in about 30 seconds of game time. Brayden is a good shooter and isn’t afraid to attack the rim either. He didn’t seem to force any offense and often passed up good shots to get a great shot for a teammate, which is rare when you’re in a showcase camp. Don’t be surprised if Haffley makes a push for varsity playing time at West this season.
