He was able to read the floor in ways that others could not, which set him over the edge. Kem knew how to use his size at the right times whether to score or facilitate to others. Also used his size well on the defensive side, able to stop drives and generate steals into fastbreak opportunities. Thought he did a great job of attacking the basket in a couple dribbles, then making the kickout to an open shooter. Made a solid amount of threes through the day through spotting up or pulling off the dribble. He positioned himself well and found himself grabbing a ton of rebounds. Came away with a few triples and kept the offense flowing with his play. He made scoring the ball look effortless at times during his 5 on 5 play. Started off the games knocking down shots from deep with his quick release. In transition Charlie was able to make a great impact, finishing on the receiving end of many fast breaks. Pulled out a nice hesitation move in transition a couple times to help create separation for the layup. Charlie was very versatile from an offensive standpoint during the game. He hit his open three pointers and attacked closeouts when he had to put the ball down. He was relentless with his effort and activity, motor never relaxed. He was active on the glass right out the gates. Khasan got to it later on, really establishing his ability to score. Hit some short midrange jumpers and made great outlet passes to ignite the break. Made a really nice drive to the basket that showed his speed and handle on the ball. I liked the way he ran the floor in transition and always looked for the ball. He set some good screens and finished baskets around the rim. Played some solid defense at the basket and has the size to really become a staple on the block. Confident and big time spot-up shooter out on the perimeter. Ran the floor well in transition and did his best damage out on the break. Finished multiple transition plays by getting ahead of the opposition. Carson used this showcase to take a broader look at his skillset. Had a nice iso situation where he broke down the defender and pivot-faked into a tough layup. Never led the team with points but always made his presence felt on the court. Had a couple steals right out the gate that set the tone for how his afternoon would continue on. He was an imposing force for most of his opponents due to his strength and size as a guard. Chima showcased his handle, shaking off some defenders with an elusive change of direction. Ran the floor for the entirety of the event and never slowed down, finishing a multitude of breaks. Did everything you could ask from a player on the winning side. Effective defender, high IQ offensively, and intangible star that could get to the basket at will with his handle or frame. He played very sound on-ball defense and caused a lot of defensive stops. He forced the offense to turn the ball over a lot, made things hard for the opposition when he was on the floor. Isaac held down the point well, made passes when they needed to be made and handled pressure pretty well.
