Carson was very effective in the backcourt alongside his JC teammate Charlie R. Confident and big time spot-up shooter out on the perimeter. Ran the floor well in transition and did his best damage out on the break. Finished multiple transition plays by getting ahead of the opposition. Carson used this showcase to take a broader look at his skillset. Had a nice iso situation where he broke down the defender and pivot-faked into a tough layup. Presented John Carroll well with a solid overall performance.

Solid all around guard. Looked comfortable moving without the ball. Knocking the shots out to 17-19 feet. Showed he could initiate offense making sound decisions with the ball. Carson might not be the most athletic player on the floor, but a sound player that knows how to play the game and help win games.
