Expert Analysis
Colby Giacubeno | Prep Hoops Scout
Shabani fits the script for the style that John Carroll has thrived with as a program with prospects who can bury three’s with high volume, read-and-react quickly on backdoor cuts and finish on straight-line drives as closeouts become undisciplined. He can shoot it off movement (lifts, pin downs, etc.), can get his shot off quickly if he has to use a move or two to create the necessary space and does a nice job of flaring out to the wing on transition possessions to get in the shot-ready position.
