Chima was solid all throughout the day. Never led the team with points but always made his presence felt on the court. Had a couple steals right out the gate that set the tone for how his afternoon would continue on. He was an imposing force for most of his opponents due to his strength and size as a guard. Chima showcased his handle, shaking off some defenders with an elusive change of direction. Ran the floor for the entirety of the event and never slowed down, finishing a multitude of breaks. Did everything you could ask from a player on the winning side. Effective defender, high IQ offensively, and intangible star that could get to the basket at will with his handle or frame. Huge potential for the sophomore moving into a prized wing position at Carroll (DC).

-Have come away impressed after watching Amadi play as the feel continues to grow with each viewing. He’s athletic, plays with a motor, hits the glass hard, and is understanding how to make his cuts to the basket so that he doesn’t cut off a driving lane from a teammate. The spatial awareness and understanding of defensive rotations continues to improve with each viewing. Interested to track his development to see if he trends in the direction of wing or a slashing guard.

-With the graduation of several key pieces in the frontcourt, Amadi looks primed for a much bigger role with the Lions this season as an athletic W/F tweener. The athletic swing man can help out on the glass, give Carroll some lineup flexibility, and finish his opportunities around the rim. His skillset continues to grow each time that I see him play, if he can continue to play with a high motor he is more than capable of reaching his ceiling.
