Prep Hoops Indiana "The Expo" - 8 Prospects to Watch, Part 1

We are almost exactly one month out from "The Expo" which is our annual showcase for rising juniors and seniors. This event is one that we work very hard on to get college coaches in the door. However, regardless of who is in the gym, we will have written evaluations of every prospect in attendance on our website which will be seen by hundreds of college programs across all levels. If you are serious about wanting to play college basketball this is a must-attend fall showcase and one of the few that will be worth your money. Here are eight prospects that have already signed up that we know coaches will want to get their eyes on. Day, who is 6'4" with a strong build, had an outstanding summer on the UA Rise Circuit with Progeny 16u and was a mainstay in the starting lineup for the Bulldogs during the month of June. He will definitely be one that college programs will want to start checking out at The Expo on September 20th.     Deneve will be one of the top returners for Whitko High School this season after averaging 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a junior. He has now grown to 6'5"-6'6" and had a strong summer with Region Force 17u. Look for him to be a solid under-the-radar prospect for small college programs to check out at The Expo. We look forward to getting a good look at this forward on September 20th.     Harvey continues to emerge as one of the more intriguing big men in Indiana's Class of 2026. College programs will want to be in attendance to see this high academic center at The Expo. At 6'8", Harvey moves well and has some vertical bounciness as well. Additionally, coming from Ben Davis High School, you know he is being coached and held accountable on the defensive end of the floor. He has been highly sought after throughout the summer months by small college programs.     We've always been a fan of this 6'4" forward. He caught our attention during some Lawrence North High School open gyms with his non-stop motor, tenacity on the glass, and athleticism as a finisher around the rim. Now, after transferring to Beech Grove High School for his junior season, Kenny will have a chance to take on a much larger role at the varsity level.     Kobe was able to carve out a role in a very deep and talented Portage High School rotation as a sophomore. Now, with five seniors graduating, he should be ready to step into a larger role for the Indians. The 6'1" guard is a skilled perimeter threat that puts pressure on opposing defenses in a variety of ways. We look forward to having him at The Expo on September 20th.     This ever-improving big man really caught our attention this summer. The 6'9" center was very impressive in spurts for [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 16u. He is capable on the rim run, is able to finish up around the rim, and attacks the ball as it comes off the glass. McCormack is long and lean right now, but as he gets stronger the height and skill set is there for him to be a very intriguing prospect in Indiana's Class of 2027.     An under-the-radar impact transfer from the summer, Modesitt will be moving across town from West Lafayette to Harrison (West Lafayette) High School. The 6'2" guard has been a two year varsity rotation player and should step into what is going to be a very talented and explosive backcourt at Harrison with a handful of transfers. We look forward to getting an updated evaluation of Modesitt at The Expo.     The third leading scorer on last season's Tri-West team, Paris brings back 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game for the Bruins. The athletic 6'2" guard shot over 40% from three-point range as a sophomore and really projects as a catch-and-shoot threat. He is a solid Class of 2027 prospects to get eyes on this fall.
